That's a wrap on registration. The field is full and the teams are set for the 2026 Sam Lower Memorial Golf Tournament. Thank you to everyone who signed up — we can't wait to see you on May 15th at Bear Slide Golf Club.

Best value for teams looking to maximize every opportunity on the course. Includes:

• 4 Mulligans — use anytime during the round to replay an errant shot or retry a putt that burned the edge. Each player gets a single use.

• Cheat Code Hole — choose one hole where your entire team tees off from 150 yards (Par 4) or 200 yards (Par 5). Use once during the round.

• The Lifeline — randomly assigned length of string (6-24"). If your ball finishes within the string length of the hole, it's in (no additional putt needed). Use once during the round.

Pro tip: pick the right hole for your cheat code and save your lifeline for a clutch moment — it can be the difference between winning and just missing out.

We're excited to share that Sam's daughter, Cari, will be performing a live concert the evening of the tournament.

The concert runs from 6:30–8:30 PM and will feature Cari's original folk music. The show will be held outdoors at 8762 Washington Boulevard E Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46240 — and will move indoors if the weather doesn't cooperate.

Admission is by suggested donation of $20. Snack boxes will be available for purchase, and it's BYOB.

We just launched The Field — a live look at everyone who's registered for the tournament. And the numbers don't lie: 31 of 48 spots are already gone. That's 65% of the field claimed, with complete foursomes locked in and more teams forming every week.

Full teams are in. Partial teams are in. Even individual players who don't have a foursome yet are getting registered — the tournament committee will place singles on a team so you won't miss out just because you're flying solo.

We're excited to share the full details on how tournament day will play out!

The tournament is played as a 4-person scramble — fun and accessible for golfers of all skill levels. Throughout the round, you'll have the chance to compete in individual on-course contests: Closest to the Pin on select par 3s, and a Straightest Drive challenge where accuracy beats distance.

We're also introducing Lower Power(ups) — your team's on-course cheat code. Each kit is loaded with mulligans and other creative advantages designed to rescue a rough hole, flip the momentum, and keep your round alive. Think of it as leveling up for a good cause: every kit purchased goes directly toward multiple myeloma research, so the more power(ups) in play, the better for everyone.

As for prizes: the winning team will each receive a dozen personalized Titleist Pro V1 golf balls commemorating the event. Contest winners (Closest to the Pin and Straightest Drive) will receive Bear Slide pro shop credit redeemable toward equipment, merchandise, or future rounds.
